Title: The Fruit Basket Game
Welcome to the Fruit Basket Game! In this game, you will learn about the fruits of the spirit and how they can help us live a better life.
Materials: A basket, paper cutouts of different fruits, a list of the fruits of the spirit
Instructions:
- Gather the paper cutouts of different fruits and place them in a basket.
- Choose a player to go first. They will close their eyes and pick a fruit from the basket without looking.
- The player will then use the fruit they picked to act out one of the fruits of the spirit (love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, or self-control).
- The other players will try to guess which fruit of the spirit the player is acting out.
- Once the fruit of the spirit is guessed, the player will read the corresponding Bible verse (Galatians 5:22-23) and share a personal story of how they have experienced this fruit in their life.
- The game continues with each player taking a turn.
Lessons learned:
- The fruits of the spirit are essential qualities we need to have a good life.
- Acting out these fruits of the spirit can help us to better understand them and their importance.
- Sharing personal stories helps us to connect with others and learn from their experiences.
Call to action:
